In an effort to integrate knowledge and understanding of SDGs and their importance into its academic offerings, The British University in Egypt has curated modules and entire degree to serve sustainable development goals. Among these are both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered through the Faculties of Engineering and Energy and Environmental Engineering.
Postgraduate Master Programmes offered through the Faculty of Engineering include Renewable Energy (with modules in Renewable Energy Sources and Environmental Issues, Hydrogen Production, Energy Management, Energy Conversion, Storage, and Recovery and Advanced solar energy applications) and Sustainable Energy (with modules in Efficient Buildings, Sustainable Urban Design, Sustainable Landscape, Sustainability in Contemporary Cities, Sustainable Water & Environmental Sanitation, BIM for Green Building Practices, Lean Construction for Sustainability, and Construction & Demolition Waste Management).
Our Business Ethics & Social Responsibility course covers Ethics & Sustainability in Entrepreneurship, Environmental Scanning and Ethical decision & philosophies.
International Marketing and Brand Management covers the rise of consumer trends relating to minimalism, anti-consumerism, and conscious consumption, and Branding & overconsumption: Socially responsible brands
In Sustainable Development, students explore Circular Economy, Carbon Literacy, Carbon Footprint, Sustainability Reporting, Greenwashing, Business SDGs, Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen, Green Marketing and Luxury Fashion Marketing and Sustainability.
