Third Political Science Conference Model Addresses SDGs

Our Political Science Department successfully held its third Political Science Conference Model (PSCM)!
This was the first international edition of the conference, as we were joined by students from our UK academic partner, LSBU: London South Bank University, under the theme of “Managing Diversity: Trust, Peace, and Inclusive Development”, in line with our University’s role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The PSCM is an annual student-led conference that promotes academic research among undergraduate students and provides them with real-life experiences that prepare them for both the national and international job markets.
The conference was attended by Professor Wadouda Badran, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science, as well as UK Link Tutors from LSBU: London South Bank University, and was held under the supervision of Professor Amany Khodair, Head of our Political Science department.
The conference also hosted renowned Professor of Political Science at Cairo University, Professor Ali Eldean Hillal, as a keynote speaker. In his statement, Professor Hillal discussed the importance of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and highlighted how this conference provides both postgraduate and undergraduate political science students with the chance to engage, bond and develop their critical thinking and presentation skills.
