Seminar on Bootstrapping Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy at The British University in Egypt recently hosted a seminar titled “How to Convert Your Idea into a Real Business – Bootstrapping Entrepreneurship.” Organized by the Center of Drug Research and Development (CDRD), this engaging seminar took place at our faculty and attracted 30 participants, including entrepreneurs, alumni, and students.

Dr. Alaa Youssef, the Founder & CEO of JEVAN and a former assistant lecturer at Heliopolis University, led the seminar. Dr. Youssef shared valuable insights on transforming entrepreneurial ideas into tangible businesses through bootstrapping—a method that emphasizes self-funding and resourcefulness.

The seminar provided a platform for attendees to explore practical strategies and real-world experiences in entrepreneurship, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.

We are committed to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among our students and community members and look forward to hosting more events that empower the next generation of innovators.
