The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering at The British University in Egypt recently welcomed students from Manhattan and New Generation schools for an engaging tour of the faculty’s programs and facilities. The tour provided these young visitors with a first-hand look at the university’s offerings in renewable energy, environmental engineering, and cutting-edge sustainable technologies. This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering quality education (SDG 4), promoting affordable and clean energy (SDG 7), supporting industry and infrastructure innovation (SDG 9), and building partnerships for shared goals (SDG 17).
By introducing students to future-focused STEM fields and career pathways, the Faculty is helping to ignite an early interest in sustainability and engineering. This tour serves as a bridge to inspire the next generation to engage with global challenges and contribute to a sustainable future.
