The Faculty of Pharmacy at The British University in Egypt, in cooperation with the Businessmen Club (Rotary Egypt), organized a medical convoy to the Good Shepherd Health Clinic in King Mariout in Alexandria. The convoy aimed to provide medical services and raise much-needed awareness of healthcare for the citizens of this underprivileged area.
The initiative was supervised by Dr. Noha Mahmoud Gamal El-Din and pharmacist Moataz Sobhi, with the participation of 27 faculty students representing members of the Pharmacy Students Union and EPSF in addition to the participation of 2 graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Medical examinations were provided to the residents of this region by specialized consultants in the specialties of internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and ophthalmology while providing health awareness on many health issues.
