The British University in Egypt’s Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering has signed an MoU with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE). The MoU aims to enhance the exchange of knowledge about technological innovations. Other collaborations and benefits include participating in organizing events, conferences, workshops and seminars that focus on the fields of renewable energy, electricity and supply. Through this partnerships, the University and RECREE will be able to jointly apply for financing opportunities for projects and activities of common interest.
The protocol was signed in June 2021 in the presence of Professor Yehia Bahei-El-Din, Acting President of the British University in Egypt, Professor Attia Attia Dean of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering at the BUE and Dr. Maged Karam El Din Acting Executive Director at RCREEE.
The Purpose of this MOU is to provide a general framework for cooperation between parties governing the collaborative efforts on deployment of Renewable Energy principals on a non-binding basis, and some basic principles regarding the cooperation between the BUE-FEEE and RCREEE. In addition the protocol is expected to foster applied research projects, curriculum and instruction developments that are driven by challenges faced in the energy sector. Looking forward to mutual benefits between both esteemed entities in the near future.
