BUE students launch the first on-the-go cereal brand in Egypt and the MENA region

Introducing Cereasly, a project that is set to revolutionize the way children eat. As the first on-the-go cereal brand in Egypt and the MENA region, we aim to provide a delicious and healthy meal/snack that children can enjoy anywhere. With Cereasly, customers can join us in a unique purchase experience in which they can customize their cereal bowl by choosing the packaging material and design, type of cereal, type of milk, and toppings.

The primary research phase of this project was very important as the researchers wanted to examine the market size and the eligibility of starting such a new concept for selling cereal in Egypt and MENA. Through quantitative and qualitative research, the researchers found that there is a huge opportunity for this project in the market and it can be easily expanded in different areas including schools, shopping malls, and sporting clubs.

The only major challenge that we faced is formulating the best business model and selling channels for the project launching phase, however, we found a cost-effective selling channel which is using the movable food trucks model. This model will help us to be dynamically available in different places. Not just that, we also found a great opportunity to provide Cereasly ready-to-eat packed products to our customers through retailers (Hypermarkets). So, we can sell our products in our branches and through retailers.
