BUE Students and Staff Participate in UNODC’s Anti-Corruption GRACE Competition

Building on the success of the Education for Justice (E4J) and Anti-Corruption Academic (ACAD) initiatives, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) launched the Global Resource for Anti-Corruption Education and Youth Empowerment (GRACE) initiative. This initiative aims to strengthen the role of education and youth in combating corruption worldwide, promoting a culture of integrity and transparency among young people.

The GRACE competition is a unique opportunity that aligns with Egypt’s National Anti-Corruption Strategy, which seeks to identify, evaluate, and mitigate the harmful impacts of corruption. By creating anti-corruption frameworks and fostering collaboration among national, regional, and international stakeholders, the competition supports Egypt Vision 2030 and its goal to promote sustainable development.

Representing the British University in Egypt (BUE), two faculty members and four students from the Department of Political Science took part in this impactful event. Their involvement exemplifies the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of accountability and anti-corruption awareness among students, empowering the next generation to be proactive in creating positive change.
