BUE ICE Student Chapter: Preparing Future Chartered Engineers

The BUE ICE Student Chapter is dedicated to preparing civil engineering students for graduate membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and for achieving professional qualifications in the UK. By focusing on career-building objectives, the Chapter supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Decent Work and Economic Growth, ensuring that graduates are ready for successful, impactful careers.

In recent times, the Chapter experienced an influx of non-civil engineering students joining for unrelated social activities. To realign with its mission, the Chapter is currently refining its membership and actively promoting its core objectives. This initiative will bring BUE closer to its founding goal of producing civil engineering graduates who are eligible to become chartered engineers, reinforcing our commitment to professional excellence.
