The British University in Egypt (BUE) Faculty of Dentistry continued its mission to promote oral health awareness among young students with a second successful campaign at Future French School (L’Ecole de l’Avenir) in El Rehab City, New Cairo.

A Global Impact, One Smile at a Time

Building on the success of the first campaign held at the Egyptian British International School in October 2022, BUE’s dental experts engaged primary school students in grades 1, 2, and 3. The campaign reached approximately 180 students, providing them with essential oral health knowledge and skills.

A Focus on Cultural Sensitivity and Effective Communication

To ensure maximum impact, BUE’s dental team conducted awareness sessions and demonstrations in French, catering to the linguistic needs of the students. This cultural sensitivity allowed for effective communication and better understanding of the key messages.

The campaign included a variety of engaging activities:

• Informative Sessions: Simple yet impactful awareness sessions were conducted in French to educate students about the significance of oral hygiene in leading a healthy lifestyle.
• Demonstrative Learning: Practical demonstrations showcased the correct techniques for brushing teeth, ensuring that students learned by doing.
• Fun and Games: Engaging coloring activities and exciting giveaways, sponsored by Signal, kept the young minds entertained while reinforcing the importance of dental care.

By combining education with entertainment, the campaign aimed to instill healthy habits in young minds, setting the foundation for a lifetime of oral health.
