Toxicology students at the British University in Egypt (BUE) launched an awareness campaign titled “Everyday Toxic Exposures” to educate the university community about common toxic substances in daily life. The campaign covered household items, personal care products, food and drinks, and commonly used medications—highlighting their potential risks, symptoms of exposure, and prevention strategies.
This initiative allowed students to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, reinforcing the pharmacist’s role in public health and promoting a safer, more informed community.
