Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign by Pharm D Clinical Students

In December 2024, the British University in Egypt proudly witnessed the impactful efforts of 135 fourth- and fifth-year Pharm D Clinical students as they led an awareness campaign titled:
“Cervical Cancer Awareness and the Relevance of Vaccination in Cervical Cancer Prevention.”

This initiative was part of the students’ coursework for the modules Pharmacotherapy of Oncological Diseases and Radiopharmacy (PCPc518) and Clinical Pharmacy 2 (PCP409), under the supervision of Dr. Noha El Baghdady.

The campaign was conducted both on campus and across social media platforms, aiming to educate the wider community about:

  • The importance of cervical cancer prevention

  • The role of early detection

  • The benefits and safety of HPV vaccination

Structured across three interactive phases, students developed scientifically accurate and creative educational materials in both English and Arabic, fostering accessibility and broader outreach.

The Faculty of Pharmacy commends the students for their initiative, creativity, and dedication to raising awareness and making a real-world impact in the fight against cervical cancer.
