Egyptian Businessmen’s Association Visit to The British University In Egypt

The British University in Egypt was delighted to welcome the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association to campus for discussions on innovation and business prospects. President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohamed Loutfi and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Yehia Bahei-El-Din greeted the EBA delegation which went on to engage with startups and SMEs at the Science and Innovation Park, exploring potential collaborations and learning about their offerings.

They also had the opportunity to tour the University’s Nanotechnology Research Centre, including its SEM and XRD Units, and gain valuable insights into the institution’s cutting-edge technologies. They then visited the laboratories at the Faculties of Engineering and Business Administration, Economics and Political science, where they were introduced to the University’s state-of-the-art Financial Lab and Wind Tunnel.

After the tour, discussions between the EBA delegation and University Management centered on enhancing collaboration with the aim of fostering stronger ties between academia and industry, paving the way for mutually beneficial partnerships. The meeting concluded with a forum on sustainability which was joined by The British University in Egypt Board of Trustees member Professor Farouk Elbaz.
