The Faculty of Pharmacy at The British University in Egypt (BUE) recently organized a community service project focused on afforestation in regions of Cairo with limited green spaces. The event included planting shrubs and small trees, aiming to foster environmental development and raise awareness about the importance of green areas in our urban landscape.
This initiative highlighted the impact of increased greenery on improving air quality, supporting local ecosystems, and creating healthier communities. By involving our students and faculty in this project, we’re contributing to sustainable urban development and promoting a greener Cairo for future generations.
