The Faculty of Pharmacy at The British University in Egypt recently held an inspiring seminar titled “Innovating for Impact: Proteinea’s Journey to Pioneering the Future of Biologics,” organized by the Center of Drug Research and Development (CDRD). The seminar featured Prof. Ahmed Zoheir, a distinguished scientist at Proteinea, whose expertise spans over 12 years in Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Bioengineering.

Prof. Zoheir, who holds a PhD in Microbiology and Bioengineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, shared Proteinea’s journey as a pioneering company in computational protein engineering. He highlighted the company’s innovative contributions to the biologics industry and provided insights into how entrepreneurship and science intersect to drive impactful solutions.
