On Saturday, November 26, 2022, the Faculty of Nursing at the British University in Egypt, in collaboration with the National Council for Women and the National Cancer Institute, organized a free Health Awareness Convoy in Shorouk City. Held at Khaled bin Al-Walid Mosque Square, this event offered a range of vital health services to the local community, benefiting approximately 213 individuals, including older adults, women, and children.
The convoy provided the following services:
- Health Assessments and Tumor Detection
- Blood Pressure and Random Blood Sugar Monitoring
- Body Mass Index Measurement
- Health Awareness Sessions covering topics like first aid, maternal and child health, and prevention of home accidents.
This initiative aimed to enhance community health by promoting awareness and empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being. Key impacts include:
