A future-fit approach for indoor air quality in industrial workplaces: a case study of Oriental weavers building. A Research funded by Young Investigator Research Grant by BUE.

The study shows that Retrofitting industrial workplaces face many challenges for resilient future. Carpet and rugs industry attracts attention due to the many challenges it faces to ensure proper indoor air quality (IAQ). This from one hand strikes a balance of increased ventilation to ensure proper quality of air, free of pollutants, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and particulate matter (PM), and achieving energy efficiency on the other hand. This is in addition to maintaining indoor thermal comfort conditions.
