Green Heritage Platform

The initiative aims to work in Egypt’s traditional handicrafts industry in order to have a positive influence on its growth and protect both the traditional handicrafts themselves from extinction and their surrounding cultural landscapes. The Green Heritage platform is one of the approaches used to accomplish this goal. It serves as a conduit between all parties involved in this industry, including individuals like artisans, institutions, relevant government agencies, and other businesses, with the goal of combining efforts and initiatives while also offering a range of services that boost the sector’s effectiveness.
The platform provides a variety of services, including marketing—whether online or offline—documentation, identification of artisans and artisans through the so-called “craft I.D. The team members Participated in BUE Science Park Competition with the Green Heritage Platform project and won the BUE Innovate IV competition. And the start-up is going to receive both 45,000 L.E as a fund for the start-up and incubation at BUE’s Business Incubator. Funding Agency: Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, BUE Business incubator . The platform targets crafters, vendors, companies from different communities.Also all institutions of tourism sector will be targeted as stackholders
One of the crucial services offered by the platform for some of the goods bearing the tagline “civilization rights & created in Egypt” is branding.
In addition, workshops and training programmes will be offered to help artisans and those who are just interested in crafts improve their abilities.
The project can offer a variety of consultations in addition to educating the public about the heritage habitats, the history behind each product, and how a portion of the proceeds will be used to improve the heritage environments.
